Lovebombing Norah Jones

Norah Jones
Can I just say that I love Norah Jones’ music? It has the most wonderful energy about it, and always gets me in a certain kind of really good mood.

Simon Baker -- Surfer Jane?
This post is for never_evil! Wouldn’t we all want to see Patrick Jane in The Mentalist embracing the surfer inside himself? ♥

Shahid Kapoor
I love Shahid Kapoor (or Kapur, as it’s sometimes spelled), he is an outstanding actor and dancer. I love that his mere presence can make even a boring film watchable, and I love that he makes me smile. There’s more than a thousand and one reasons to like Shahid, here’s some of them.

Preity Zinta in Heroes
It’s been said before and I couldn’t agree more, Preity Zinta really is fantastic – for a million reasons and more!
There’s a million and one reasons why I love India. Now and then I get completely overwhelmed with a deep and urgent longing for all things Indian. When that happens I usually light a couple of incense sticks and hug my mug of masala chai for comfort, silently counting the days until I’ll return… India is my Guru, and although it’s true that geographical distance doesn’t mean a thing as long as there’s a heart connection… I’m still yearning to be close to India again.
Today is one of those days, and here are some of the things that are on my mind right now.

DEATH
Terry Pratchett is an absolutely brilliant writer and his books really amuse me :)
DEATH, found in several of his books, is the quirkiest and most memorable character in a book ever – I adore him to bits! Don’t you just love him too? ♥
Here’s a few of my favourite Pratchett quotes:
- DON’T WORRY, IT WON’T BE FOREVER.
- Good.
- IT MAY SEEM LIKE FOREVER.

Cliffs of Moher, Ireland
I love the Cliffs of Moher. This breathtaking site, situated in Co Clare on the west coast of Ireland, makes my head spin and my heart soar.

I love Maggie O’Farrell. She’s my all-time favourite writer, and I’m eternally grateful for all the beauty she brings into this world. Each page in any of her books is as delicious as a perfect piece of dark, rich chocolate! There’s something about her voice, her writing style, that simply moves me beyond words… Over and over again I’m blown away by how it conjures up this mesmerising sense of getting intimately close to each character, inviting me to feel the rhythm of their breath, to taste the unique quality of their heartbeats…

I’m just after rewatching Rang De Basanti. Again. I was crying my heart out, as usual… It’s such a soulful, beautiful and awe-inspiring film, and yet it somehow leaves me shattered and emotionally exhausted every time.
“What is it about these boys that makes them have no fear? I think sometimes a person can be pushed so far that they enter a place beyond fear. A place where you find a strange peace. Where you free yourself to do the right thing. Because sometimes that’s the hardest thing to do.”

I love Kenzo Amour, the parfume. It is one of the most delicious and comforting scents I’ve ever come across in bottled form. It’s fuschia coloured bottle is a gem in itself, flaunting a very feminine, curvy and sensual shape. Getting yourself enveloped in a very subtle cloud of Kenzo Amour turns any gray day into flowing moments of romance and warmth, that encourages you to open up and flirt with life.
